Now out on bail, this red sanders smuggler and local don is said to be on a land-grabbing spree. YSRCP leader and Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has taken a serious view of Reddy's activities in Chittoor district. He has warned the gang of serious consequences if they indulge in threatening and land-grabbing.
Of late, Karunakar Reddy is getting a lot of complaints about the Gangi Reddy gang threatening the realtors and land owners in and around Tirupati. He is said to have taken a serious view of these activities and has strongly warned Gangi Reddy and his followers not to get involved in incidents of land grab. He said strict action would be taken against them if they were found to be threatening anyone.
Gangi Reddy is notorious for his involvement in the land grab. He is known to have threatened several people in Tirupati and its surroundings. However, the people got a respite after he was arrested. But, now that he is released on bail , there are complaints that he is back to his old ways and is threatening people with dire consequences if they do not pay him.
