Following the deadly outbreak of the novel corona virus originated from the Wuhan province of China many countries have directed the scientists to find a vaccine for the dreaded virus.

Now the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), a reputed national laboratory has stepped in to test the samples of COVID-19 at a large scale increasing the chances of cutting short the spread of the virus.

The Hyderabad-based center has been accorded permission to conduct tests from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in this regard. The laboratory has the capacity to test 800-1000 samples at a time.

Talking about the same, CCMB former Director Mohan Rao has made some serious revelations about the dreaded virus.

"Corona virus is changing its genome with time. As part of it, the virus was transmitted to humans from animals. It will take some time to find a vaccine and cure for the Corona virus. Corona virus will first enter the lungs and will show its impact through Kidneys and heart," Mr. Mohan Rao said.
