Harish Shankar is one of the talented directors in the industry but the failure of his 'Duvvada Jagannadham' has badly dented his image. It has been over a year and the director hasn't finalized his next project yet.
Harish penned 'Daagudumoothalu' script but he hasn't roped in the lead actors yet. Several speculations about his next are coming out but the director is yet to give a clarity. According to the latest reports, Harish Shankar is planning to remake 2014 Tamil blockbuster 'Jigarthanda' starring Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon. Harish Shankar is keen on adopting the film and change the script in his style to impress the Tollywood audience. Young hero Sharwanand is considered to play the lead role in the film. The official announcement will be made only after this 'Gabbar Singh' director wraps up the script work.
Interestingly, Sharwanand was expected to star in 'Daagudumoothalu' but the film failed to get materialized. We have to wait and see can Harish materialize this project or not. Varun Tej's name is also heard for this remake.
