Khakhee First Look: Karthi-Rakul Romance

Tamil hero Karthi is able to create some decent market for himself in Telugu in the past few years, unlike other Tamil stars. Films like 'Oopiri' made him closer to the Telugu audience. Karthi is coming up with his latest film 'Khakhee' to entertain the Telugu audience soon.
'Khakhee' is the Telugu dubbed version of 'Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru'. Karthi is playing a sincere and powerful police officer role in this film. The makers have released the first look of the film where Karthi and main female lead Rakul Preet Singh appeared natural with minimum possible makeup. Karthi is seen in the police uniform and Rakul is holding him affectionately. It appears to be a beautiful moment between the lead pair.
Ghibran is composing music. H. Vinoth is the director. Tamil version of the film is slated for release on Diwali. The makers are planning to release the Telugu version at a later date to avoid the competition from 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2'.. 'Raja The Great' etc. films in Telugu.
