Yes, when you see certain actors you feel like they stopped at a point but few actors make genuine attempts to refine themselves with each film.
Nani proved his real acting prowess with films like Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu, Pilla Zamindar. Later, he kept trying few things until he could prove himself again with Evade Subramanyam.
He started accepting films that balanced commercial elements with unique story and Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy worked for him big time.
From Ninnu Kori, he saw that his films have at least one scene or few scenes that really push him to his limit. Now, Jersey made him reinvent himself.
The actor is bettering himself with each film and he is able to give his contemporaries something to think about.
