Looking at the massive collections the Sankranti movies which released this year got, few producers planned to release their films next Sankranti to make good profits. But Rajamouli entered the scene suddenly and shattered their plans. He is releasing his prestigious 'RRR' on 8th January 2021 which is shocking all the producers.
Having multiple releases during Sankranti season is quite common. This season can withstand 2-3 big films at the same time along with a medium-range film. But Rajamouli is going to break this pattern in 2021. Coming from Rajamouli after 'Baahubali' series and that too having Ram Charan and NTR in the lead took the expectations over 'RRR' to a whole new level. Many believe that 'RRR' is the only film that can break the records created by 'Baahubali' franchise.
So, everyone is having doubts about whether anyone dares to release their film along with Rajamouli's flick. During the time of 'Baahubali', even a star hero like Mahesh Babu postponed his 'Srimanthudu'. That was in 2015. Now he is an international director. So, it is to be seen if any filmmaker goes head-on-head with this super hit director or not.
