Sree Vishnu has been trying hard to find the best possible way to strike big as ab actor. He has been doing movies at a limited budget targeting youth to connect to them.
He did Appatlo Okadundevadu that earned critics praise but still commercially nothing worked out.
Now, his film, Needi Naadi Oke Kadha has given him that good success that he is waiting for. The movie budget is said to be 2.25 crores and including promotions, it went up to 2.30 crores.
The team asked for bytes from many popular filmmakers and as they reacted positively to the film, it got a big boon in publicity.
Even critics praised the film and now, audience have responded positively too.
The movie earned 1.60 crores Worldwide and a 40 lakhs in Hindi remake rights. The movie got an expansion of 70 theatres now and it could increase further if Rangasthalam doesn't take up all the theatres.
Movie collected an amount of 40 lakhs from Overseas and 1.20 crores amount from Two Telugu states. Satellite rights and digital rights are still not sold completely it seems.
Well, finally Sree Vishnu and Nara Rohit found a hit with content oriented subject as hero and presenter. Venu Udugula, the director and Satna Titus, the lead actress are receiving good acclaim too.
