As a bid to redefine the state-run schools in the state, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started an initiate, Nadu-Nedu to measure the developments.

As part of this, the state government has decided to install as many as 45,000 smart Televisions in the government schools across the state to digitalise the schools.

The scheme to digitalise the schemes will be completed in a phased manner. As a first step, 10,000 Televisions will be installed. The program will be completed by the next academic year.

Talking about the same, Audimulapu Suresh, State Education Minister said that CM Jagan directed the concerned officials to finish the first phase works of installing smart TVs and the officials are not leaving any stone unturned to complete the work before the deadline.

In the first phase of revamping the state-run schools, the government is expected to spend around Rs 45 crores to 50 crores to install 10,000 smart televisions in the schools.

The digitalisation of the state-run schools gives a polished look to the schools and the parents of the students can send their children to these schools instead of sending children to private schools by paying heavy fees amount.
