Tupaki was the first to break the news of Srikanth Addala directing the remake of 'Asuran'. Now, the news is officially confirmed by none other than producer Suresh Babu himself.
Earlier, there was news that either Srikanth Addala or Hanu Raghavapudi will be handling the megaphone for this prestigious project. Many said that Hanu even started making changes in the script to insert Telugu nativity. To put an end to all these rumours, Suresh Babu recently said that Srikanth will be helming this film.
Srikanth Addala is known for his classy films like 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam', 'SVSC' and 'Mukunda'. There are no villains in his films till date and there is no question of violence and bloodshed. On the other hand, 'Asuran' is a raw film with a lot of blood and gore. We need to wait and see how Addala handles this remake. Hope he comes out of 'Brahmotsavam' effect and proves himself again.
