Salman Convicted, Other Actors Acquitted!

Salman Khan was held guilty of killing two blackbucks during the shooting of the flick 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' near Jodhpur in Rajasthan in 1998. A Jodhpur Court on Thursday pronounced the verdict. Whereas, Salman's co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam have ben acquitted in the case.
The 'Dabangg' Star was in the court when the verdict is pronounced. Lawyers of the convict pleaded for lesser jail sentence. Why because, Salman can seek bail immediately if the quantum of punishment isn't more than 3 years.
In case if he is sentenced to prison for over three years, Salman Khan will be lodged in Jodhpur Central Prison. He can apply for bail later.
In 1998, Salman drove the Gypsy while hunting the blackbucks near Bishnois village. Upon hearing gunshots, Villagers chased the gypsy using a bike and found Salman in it.
