Will EAMCET Exam Be Postponed?

When will the EAMCET and the other seven key entrance examinations be held? As of now, Corona virus and the consequent lockdown has put everything on hold. So, even these examinations will, in all likelihood, be postponed.
According to the original schedule given by the EAMCET board, the ECET was to be held on May 2 and the EAMCET was to be held between May 4 and May 11. It is highly unlikely that these tests would be held as per schedule. The lockdown has to end from April 14. But there are chances that the Government might extend the lockdown for another 15 days, which effectively means that the whole of the April would be lost. Given this scenario, holding ECET, EAMCET appears quite impossible. Already exams like JEE Main, JEE advanced, Neet and others have already been postponed.
The officials are likely to take a decision on these examinations only after April 14. Most importantly, even the intermediate results are yet to be out. The evaluation could begin only after the lockdown ends. So, the whole process of admissions into professional colleges could be further delayed.
