The bad patch of Allari Naresh began post the release of 'Sudigaadu' and its yet to end. This time, He tested his luck with a Horror Comedy. Nageswar Reddy delivered super hits such as 'Seema Sastri' & 'Seema Tapakai' with Naresh in the past. Ace Producer BVSN Prasad bankrolled this hat-trick project. Even promos were good enough to generate some positive buzz. Let's see if Naresh has ended his flop streak at least with this attempt or not.
Allari Naresh didn't touch parodies & spoofs this time to avoid criticism. For the first time, He attempted a horror comedy and tickles the funny bone at times. However, Lack of freshness in the story and his role hampers the impact.
Rajendra Prasad generates humour in his trademark style. But, He didn't get much scope to perform.
Heroine Kruthika is alright. Mouryani who played the ghost didn't leave a positive impression. Shakalaka Shankar and Chammak Chandra generates comedy. Kalakeya Prabhakar does well in the role of a guy who tackles evil spirits.
Few Comedy Scenes
Songs composed by Sai Kartheek were just ordinary. Background Score is alright. Camera Work by Dasaradhi Sivendra is decent. Dialogues of Diamond Ratna Babu hits the right chord at times. Production Values are good. Director Nageswar Reddy used the same old template we have seen in countless horror comedy films. Don't even wish to see something afresh in this movie. He, however, shows his command on comedy in few scenes.
Our Directors & Writers go after hit formula until People get vexed with it. That's the situation of horror comedy now. The trend which began with 'Prema Kadha Chitram' is still being continued despite several failures in the recent past. 'Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bayam' follows a fixed template - Ghost in a bungalow, Hero & his Comedy Batch entering into it & getting beaten up, Flashback of the Ghost & Happy Ending with ghost leaving the body of the person after fulfillment of the desire. We get reminded of many horror comedy films watching this new release.
Films such as 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' proved that comedy generated with ghost hits the right chord even in the present times if dealt properly. But, This Allari Naresh-starrer is no where close to it in terms of entertainment quotient.
Director Nageswar Reddy leaves a mark of his own while dealing few comedy sequences. Few Dialogues tickled the funny bone. First Half of 'Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bayam' has been decent with few comedy blocks clicking well. But, Problem is with the Second Half. Lack of decent humour, impact-creating flashback and thrilling climax makes it boring.
Despite having plenty of artistes with good comedy timing, Director failed to use them to the fullest to create rib-tickling comedy. Had if the Director chosen a less travelled path, The end result could have been very different. Overall, 'Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bayam' is another below par flick from Allari Naresh.
Bottom Line: Same Old Template!
