2.0 by Shankar and Rajnikanth is the second instalment in Enthiran/Robot franchise which became a huge blockbuster in South India and popular film on satellite in North.
Now, 2.0 released after 8 years, its first one came out. Akshay Kumar acted as a villain in the movie and it is tauted as the first of its kind thriller.
The movie collected close to 563 crores gross and it is inching towards the gross of Baahubali-1. But the movie producers reportedly, spent 550 crores on the film and in many areas they sold it for record prices.
Even though it will be seen a Blockbuster in Hindi/North Indian territories, it will be a commercial failure in other areas, most certainly.
In North India movie grossed Rs. 209 Cr Gross and made Rs. 86 Share till now. In two Telugu states, movie grossed Rs. 81 Cr Gross and collected Rs. 48.90 Share
