3 Idiots and Munnabhai Director To Get His Wish, Finally?

Rajkumar Hirani might not be an household name but 3 Idiots, Munnabhai franchise, PK and Sanju became such big hits that the name of the films will bring a smile to audiences. When they know he is the director, their respect for him increases too.
The director who started as editor, always wished to make a movie with Shah Rukh Khan. He approached SRK for Munnabhai MBBS and then continued shooting with Sanjay Dutt, as SRK, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra had a fall-out.
He again approached SRK for 3 Idiots but SRK refused the offer due to Vidhu Chopra and lack of dates. Now, Raju Hirani and Chopra are no longer partners.
As sexual harassment allegations on the director came out and Chopra decided to side with the woman who raised the issue, Raju Hirani parted ways with him.
The director and star actor are holding talks as per Bollywood media and soon, we could hear big announcement. SRK needs a big success after recent rut and this could be a big statement from him as the director never failed at box office.
