'2.O' is all set for grand Worldwide release on November 29th, 2018. Producer Subaskaran of LYCA Productions incurred a loss of Rs 4 crore with the Telugu Version itself prior to the release.

Two Groups competed to obtain the Telugu Theatrical Rights of '2.O'. A tough fight took place between D Suresh Babu & Asian Films Sunil Narang Camp and NV Prasad-Dil Raju-UV Creations Camp. There were many twists & turns in this gang war.

Apparently, D Suresh Babu & Sunil Narang closed the deal of the Telugu rights of '2.O' for Rs 82 crore and even paid advance. Delay in the release prompted the duo to back out the project. Then, NV Prasad, Dil Raju and UV Creations Vamshi came forward to take over the sci-fi flick and even signed an agreement according.

D Suresh Babu & Sunil Narang demanded the Producer to return their advance. It turned out to be a big issue after seeking interest on the advance they had paid. They even claimed to be still having the theatrical rights of '2.O' Telugu Version.

Realizing that Telugu version of '2.O' can't be released smoothly without the consent of D Suresh Babu and Sunil Narang, LYCA Productions paid Rs 4 crore interest to settle the issue amicably. A Producer incurring such a huge loss prior to the release became a hot topic in the Industry.
