65th National Film Awards have been announced on Friday. Legendary actor Vinod Khanna who passed away last year was awarded Dada Saheb Phalke Award which is Highest Film Honour. While Ridhhi Sen bagged Best Actor Award for 'Nagar Kirtan', Sridevi who died in February this year received Best Actress Award for 'MOM'.

AR Rahman bags Best Music Director Award for 'Kaatru Veliyidai'. He also received Best Background Score award for 'MOM'.

'Baahubali: The Conclusion' won Best Popular Film, Best Special Effects and Best Action Awards.

National Awards Jury Head Shekhar Kapur informed awards will be presented to the winners at a ceremony to be held on May 3rd, 2018.
