No Remuneration, Only Percentage In Profit!

Remunerations of the Star Heroes has been the major reason behind shut down of several production houses in the Industry which have only 10 percent success rate. Stars like Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan used to charge remuneration & percentage in the profits as they created a huge market for themselves. These days, Most of Young Heroes are charging Rs 20 to 30 crore per film but they are reluctant to opt for percentage basis.
There are Stars who prefers only percentage in profit. Aamir Khan doesn't accept a single penny prior to the release of his movie. His First Priority is to ensure Producer recovered entire budget including advertisement & publicity expenditure. Once after the Producer is in safe zone, Aamir takes higher percentage share in the profit because of the risk he takes with investing his time and lot of effort. 'I'm will make sure Producer is safe first,' says Mr.Perfectionist.
If the reports are to be believed, Aamir Khan charges his pay in 80:20 ratio. Which means, He gets Rs 80 crore if the profit is Rs 100 crore and Producer will get the balance.
The strategy Aamir Khan follows is the best practice to say the least. No production house will be closed even if the films bite the dust if other star heroes take inspiration from him. Even Producers will be more than willing to follow this secure method if Heroes are willing to take a bit of risk.
