Actress Sudha best suits Mother Roles and there is no competition what-so-ever for her among her generation. Not many knew that she is a Tamilian by birth. She learnt Telugu out of great difficulty and featured in hundreds of Tollywood Movies over the past two decades.
Off late, Sudha wasn't seen much in Telugu Movies. What is the reason behind it?
When quizzed her about it, Sudha explained: 'Now, Mother Roles have become like a Property. There willn't be any dialogues and we are just made to stand at a corner. That's why I rejected 'Srimanthudu'. I had done 'Vamsi', 'Murari', 'Athadu' and 'Dookudu' with Mahesh in the past. I was approached for Mother's Role in 'Srimanthudu' but turned it down as it lacked minimum importance'.
Actress Sukanya played Mahesh Babu's Mother in 'Srimanthudu'. Koratala Siva preferred her only because of 'Peddarikam' sentiment.
