Akhil Akkineni who scored back to back flops with Akhil and Hello pinned all his hopes on his next film Mr. Majnu, directed by Venky Atluri. The film unit is confident about the success and announced that the movie is going to be out on 25th January. Initially, the film was supposed to hit the screens this year itself but the makers slowed down the shooting process and finalized the new date as the release for their movie.
But we have come to know that Kalyan Ram Nandamuri initially planned to release his movie 118 around the same time that Akhil announced his film's release date now. It seems that Kalyan Ram decided to postpone his movie and sacrifice the slot for Akhil Akkineni.
