Despite coming out from the most popular Akkineni family, the young Hero Akhil failed to score a superhit in his career. His debut movie titled as Akhil became a disaster at the box office. Though his 2nd venture Hello got the positive response the collections were not that satisfactory. If his third film also becomes a flip then he will definitely become a flop hero in Tollywood. That is the reason he has been taking extra care and is following the heroine sentiment.
Akhil shared the screen space with new heroines in his first two films. Sayesha Saigal debuted into the industry with Akhil movie and Kalyani Priyadarshan marked her Tollywood entry with Hello. Both of them are new heroines but none of the films became hits. So, instead of picking up a new heroine Akhil is planning to rope in a popular heroine who has been scoring back to back hits. It seems like he is giving more priority to sentiment than the talent. Rumours came out that the makers roped in Chalo beauty Rashmika Mandanna to play the female lead in Akhil's third movie. The official announcement is yet to be made.
