Akshay Kumar played the villain role in Shankar's magnum opus '2.0' starring Rajinikanth and has greatly impressed the audience with his power-packed performance. It seems like Shankar is going to rope in Akshay again for his next.
If the buzz is to be believed, then Akshay Kumar will portray a negative character Shankar's next 'Indian 2'. Touted to be the sequel of Shankar's 1994- released blockbuster film 'Indian' Kamal Haasan is playing the main lead role. Recently, the makers have unveiled the poster of the film which received a decent response. During the filming of '2.O', Akshay and Shankar became very close to each other. After wrapping up '2.O', Shankar also thought of working together again. It looks like this is going to happen very soon after the film's release. Shankar had first approached Ajay Devgn for a vital role in the movie but because of various reasons including his prior commitments, Ajay failed to be a part of the project.
Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in the film. Anirudh Ravi Chander is scoring the tunes. LycaProductions is bankrolling this high budget flick.
