Benefit show culture is very old in Tollywood. Eagerness of die-hard fans to watch their favourite star's film even before common audience watch is the foundation for these benefit shows. Benefit shows turned out to be a weapon for anti-fans these days. Anti-fans are appearing in equal number where benefit shows.. premiers were screened.
Anti-fans watch the film with a mission to campaign negatively in the social media. They will campaign about the drawbacks in the film in the social media.. so that they can do more damage even before common audience watch it. This is impacting the movie collections. DJ team.. He told him that, they will get good collections for benefit shows but this is showing negative impact on the overall cinema collections. According to the talk, there will not be any benefit shows.. premier shows in Nizam for 'DJ' also. But shows will start form 6 AM in other areas. 'DJ' is hitting the screens on June 23.. Overseas premiers will be screened on June 22 as usual.
