'1971: Beyond Borders' starring Mohan Lal and Allu Sirish is based on the 1971 India-Pakistan War. This Malayalam flick was released across Kerala almost an year ago. Now, The Telugu version is gearing up for release as 'Yuddha Bhoomi'.
Actually, Producers NV Prasad & Tagore Madhu acquired the Telugu version rights of '1971: Beyond Borders'. They, however, sold the theatrical rights to a Third-Party instead of own release. The Buyer began projecting 'Yuddha Bhoomi' as a solo flick of Mega Hero with posters and promos.
Allu Sirish has got his own reservations in this matter. Soon after the marketing strategy adopted by the Producer came to his notice, He called NV Prasad to question how fair is it to do so citing Mohan Lal's full-length role and his guest role in 'Yuddha Bhoomi'. Our Mega Hero felt any such attempt is disrespectful to Mohan Lal with whom he shares a good relationship. Hope, Producer takes the views expressed by Sirish into confidence and does the needful.
