As per insiders, Director Nag Ashwin wants to cast Anushka in the role of Actress Jamuna. Savitri and Jamuna shared screen space in films such as 'Gundamma Katha'. So, Makers have been planning few filmy sequences in this combination.
Prakash Raj, on the other hand, will be seen in the role of Savitri's Husband Gemini Ganesan. His role has got huge importance in this biopic.
Ashwini Dutt is producing Savitri biopic in an uncompromising manner. The sole intention of the makers is to make it an all-time classic. Picturization is going to begin from June this year.
