Mahanati To Have Anushka As Bhanumathi?

Bhanumathi Ramakrishna is the first generation heroine of South Cinema. She acted with Chittoor Nagayya as a heroine in her younger days and then, on Bharani Pictures, her husband, director and producer, RamaKrishna and she made, many movies with Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao as leads.
As 50's saw the rise of Savitri and the two lead actors like ANR and NTR, she slowly started doing elderly roles in their films by the end of the decade and by mid-60's, she acted in majorly elder roles to these actors.
Savitri worked with her in Tamil and Telugu and earned a name that she can stand up to a dominator like Bhanumathi.
Now, few media reports are suggesting that in the biopic of Savitri, Mahanati, in which Keerthy Suresh is acting as the lead, Anushka Shetty will be seen as Bhanumathi.
Well, earlier there have been reports that Nani is playing as NTR in the film and Vijay Devarakonda as ANR in the film.
But, few other reports suggested that these two actors weren't approached for the roles of NTR and ANR. It also suggested that they could be added as digital characters from their old films.
