This year, Sankranti season did not have much to cheer about but Summer showed the real rush and hunger that people have for good cinema.

Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu and Mahanati became huge hits and highly popular too.

After Mahanati, except for RX100, none of the films have become hits and even though one or two showed some momentum, they couldn't sustain after one weekend.

Now, Chi La Sow and Goodachari opened to 80 to 90% packed houses in 'A' centres and Goodachari is even attracting B and C center crowds with 55 to 70% occupancies all over as reported by box office pundits.

Both the movies have given a positive hope for Films to come and from 9th August, bigger players are also coming into play.

Srinivasa Kalyanam will open on 9th August and on 10th Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 is releasing. Both are expected to rake in good moolah.

On 15th August, most buzz creator in recent times, Geetha Govindam is releasing and the movie is a cruel bid to stardom by Vijay Devarakonda and people seem to have taken a huge liking to all promotional material and it will have long weekend advantage on top of National Holiday release day advantage.

Month end has Sailaja Reddy Alludu starring Naga Chaitanya and Ramyakrishnan in cruel roles with Anu Emmanuel, releasing. The movie has a positive buzz and Nartanasala starring Naga Shourya is also expected to entertain audience.

On the whole, after a huge dry spell in Monsoon, slowly Box Office fields might see some cash flow to grow profit crops for TFI in August!
