Rasamayi Balakishan is a Member of the Legislative Assembly from the Manakonduru constituency in Karimnagar District in Telangana. He is a singer, poet, and political activist. He actively took part in Telangana separate state movement by going from village to village in bringing awareness to the public. Having impressed with his work, KCR appointed him as Telangana cultural wing head. He is also a famous director who made a movie in the past with the title Jai Telangana.
He wrote the film and directed it. He also produced the film under his banner. After a long gap, Rasamayi is back to the direction and announced a new movie. With Bithiri Sathi in the lead, Rasamayi Balakishan announced a new film titled Tupaki Ramudu with almost all artists from Telangana. The film is said to have a grand release on 2nd June.
