No Takers For This Mega Hero

Barring 'Rey', Sai Dharam Tej had a dream start to his career with three hits in a row (PNLJ, Subramanyam For Sale, Supreme). He, however, failed to capitalize on the initial success and his market came down drastically due to poor choice of scripts.
As many as Five Films (Thikka, Winner, Nakshatram, Jawaan, Intelligent) had bitten dust. Producers, Distributors & Exhibitors incurred hefty losses with these projects. This is the reason why Buyers were reluctant to invest on 'Tej, I Love You' despite chartbuster album & extremely good looking promos.
At one point in his career, Sai Dharam Tej used to enjoy a market of Rs 25 crore theatrical business. He, however, lost the trust of Distributors and Exhibitors with poor script selection. It has come to the stage that Tej is currently the least popular hero in Mega Compound, not even on par with Allu Sirish. If 'Tej, I Love You' doesn't hit the bull's eye, Producers will even hesitate to cast him as hero in medium budget films.
