Whenever there is a natural calamity at any part in the country, Film Celebrities will the first to contribute in every way possible. Telugu Actors have always done the needful be it during Hudhud Cyclone or Floods in Chennai & Kerala. What's disappointing is the manner in which Tollywood reacted to Title Cyclone which devastated Srikakulam District.
It was Sampoornesh Babu who showed his big heart by becoming the first hero to donate voluntarily for Titli Cyclone Victims. Thereafter, Other heroes kept announcing donations one after the other. Still, The helping hand offered by Tollywood wasn't as big as it should have been.
Donations announced by Tollywood Heroes have been increasing the AP CM Relief Fund. Whether or not they will reach the victims is the doubt raised by many people. Why because nobody knows how the Rs 11 crore donated by Tollywood Personalities benefitted Hudhud Victims even by now.
On the other hand, Heroes like Nikhil, Rana, Manchu Manoj and Vishal have been providing food and relief material to the victims. Better if other Film Personalities reach out to the needy people and help them directly instead of just offering few lakhs to the CM Relief Fund.
