Could you believe that Censor Board recommended as many as 40 cuts for a movie featuring A-List Actors? Usually, B-Grade Films face such huge number of cuts to make it viewable in theatres. But, This Bollywood Film is getting troubled by the Censor Members on ground of using Abusive language.

Reportedly, Censor Officials suggested 40 cuts to pass 'Udta Punjab' after the screening. They complained against the excessive use of abusive words, visuals of drug abuse and a song.

'Udta Punjab' stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. This is the only film Shahid & Kareena acted together after their break-up post 'Jab We Met'. Director Abhishek Chaubey made the film on 'Drug Abuse'. Now, The Makers approached Tribunal hoping to receive Censor certificate with minimal cuts.

Rumour that 'Udta Punjab' has been banned began doing rounds. However, Director Anurag Kashyap confirms its not banned at all.
