EPC Cinematographer turns director

There is no rule nowadyas that one should work in direction department to become a director eventually. There are several people who are entering into films in other departments and they are weilding megaphone later. Several persons are proving themselves as writers and they are turning directors slowly. Along with writers.. choreographers.. cinematographers.. editors are also taking up direction these days.

In a latest development, a talented cinematographer is taking up direction. He is Sai Sriram.. he worked as cinematographer for several successful films like 'Pilla Zamindar'.. 'Geethanjali'.. 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada'(EPC). These films are enough to understand his talent as a cinematographer. He is debuting as a director with Naga Shourya fim.

Sai Sriram said to have narrated story to Naga Shourya and impressed him. The complete details regarding this film will be revealed soon. Naga Shourya took a small gap after the success of 'Jyo Achyutananda'. He is doing a film 'Kathalo Rajakumari' in the combination of Nara Rohit. Apart from this film he is doing another film in his own banner. He has couple of other films in the discussion stage.
