Within a few weeks gap, two Indian films Baahubali 2 and Dangal have breached Rs.1000 crore collection mark. They continued their dream run and they have breached Rs.1500 crore mark also. When 'Baahubali 2' touched the unthinkable Rs.1000 crore.. Rs. 1500 crore milestones, no one has imagined that any other Indian film would do that feat in near future. But Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' China release made it possible.
'Dangal' is minting money at the China box office making it to enter Rs.1000 crore, Rs.1500 clubs within a weeks time. The world wide total collections of 'Dangal' stood at Rs. 1546 crore where as Baahubali 2 collections stood at Rs. 1577 crore. Dangal is trailing by just 31 crore. Chinese audience owned Dangal in a big way. Gender bias, and parental pressure issues in 'Dangal' has deeply connected to the Chinese audience. Dangal's China collections stood at Rs. 775.93 crore which shows the stupendous success of the film in China.
Going by the dream run of Dangal in China, it will surely beat the total world wide collections of 'Baahubali 2' in a few days. Even though 'Dangal' can become the highest grosser worldwide, Indian collections-wise 'Baahubali 2' record record will be safe for now.
