Deepika's Shocking First Look As Acid Attack Survivor

It was already announced earlier that actress Deepika Padukone will be acting in the film which is based on the life of acid attack survivor, Lakshmi Agarwal. Titled as Chhapaak, this movie is being directed by Megna Gulzar of Talvar and Raazi fame. The shoot will go on floors from today.
This morning, Deepika shared her first look from the film as 'Malti,' where she completely transformed herself as Lakshmi. She tweeted, "A character that will stay with me forever...#Malti. Shoot begins today! #Chhapaak. Releasing-10th January 2020." Vikrant Massey plays a key role in this film.
Already, Deepika has been getting rave response on her looking from the film and the expectations are high on it considering the form of director Meghna Gulzar. The movie is being bankrolled by Fox Star Hindi Studios.
