Allu Arjun's last film 'DJ-Duvvada Jagannadham' was a talking point in the Tollywood media at the time of its release. Several controversies surrounded the film and fake collections issue is the most discussed topic.
When the makers claimed that the movie has collected Rs. 100 crore in the first weekend, Mega fans were upset because they felt that the DJ makers trying to project their film to be bigger than Chiru film 'Khaidi No.150'. Producer Dil Raju was forced to give clarification about the collections later. The issue got subsided slowly. Coming to the present, DJ Malayalam version 'Dhruvaraja Jagannadh' released recently and it has reportedly collected Rs. 1.7 crore in the first week. Taking these collections into account, Bunny fans and some people close to him are claiming that the overall DJ collection is Rs.130 crore.
As they are projecting 'DJ' as a super hit with Rs. 130 crore worldwide collections, discussions started in the media regarding fake collections once again. But no one from the 'DJ' team is talking about it and they are staying out of the controversy now
