This Director Tried To Create A Sensation?

We don't have any problem with people being open and emotional in interviews but that should not look fake.

You may receive few clicks and some fame for few days, but that attitude won't help you last forever in people's memory.

A.S Ravikumar Chowdary, proved to be a good commercial director with films like Yagnam and Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham. But he failed to score a hit with Nithiin, Tanish and even Balakrishna.

Right now, he is 'supposedly' not an immediate choice for any hero in the industry. His attitude is said to be the main reason and the director tried to show it off in a recent interview.

He started off the interview, by lighting up a cigarette and asked the interviewer to continue while he smokes. This doesn't seem a natural way of conversation and the interview tried to stress on more sensational issues than his films and personal life.

He commented that he knew Ram Gopal Verma who is more sensible once and these days that guy is no longer alive he said. After that, he also said that the director should start giving respect to women and not be in an impression that he can do anything with a phone and social media. He asked the director, "Will he be happy if his daughter does the same things he does? "

The director said, "I loved an anchor but she turned out to be a prostitute. She used me for money and I can tell her name, if you can play it. There is no truth in directors and producers asking for women to sleep and casting couch is not entirely true. There might be few people who can't resist these temptations. But if everyone is the same, what about Manjula, Niharika and Manchu Lakshmi? Do you think, if the industry is such, they would be getting such offers?"

He welcomed Pawan Kalyan's decision to enter into politics and said that without giving a chance to him, no body should comment on his sincerity. He laughed at the coments that Pawan Kalyan is a CBN and Telugu Desam Party, agent.

He further said, "I believe Balakrishna is the only actor who can compete with Rajnikanth in charm on-screen. There are no shortcuts and only hardworking people survive here. Sai Dharam Tej, Chiranjeevi's nephew has a market, can the same be said about Nagarjuna's nephew?"

He continued to talk in the same manner through out the interview. It is great to try and tell truth, but for that lighting up a cigarette or commenting on others seems to be stooping too low for publicity and offers.
