As per the speculation, None other than Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will be reprising the roles of Rama and Sita in the film adaptation of Ramayana planned with a mammoth budget of Rs 500 crore. Director Nitesh Tiwari who will jointly direct the epic with Ravi Udyawar responded on the rumour. 'We are yet to start thinking about the Casting of Ramayana. Right now, We are doing the paper work..trying to figure out everything. Think about casting at a later stage,' he made it clear.
Makers have already informed Cast is gonna comprise of Pan-Indian Actors from Bollywood and Southern Film Industries. Most importantly, The Actors playing lead roles need to have Pan-India Appeal to justify the Rs 500 crore budget. Hrithik Roshan and Prabhas are said to be the strong contenders to play Rama. Among the Actresses, Deepika Padukone is the frontrunner.
Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra collaborated to make 3-part Ramayana in 3D. It's a tri-lingual project (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil). When the Director himself feels it's too early to talk about the Casting, We can't do much about it other than waiting patiently.
