Performances:

Thern character played by Sharwanand in 'Express Raja' seems to be an rnextension of what he did in 'Run Raja Run'. But, He is simply superb andrn his effortless acting helps audience connect with his character rninstantly. His look and styling would be loved by the Youth.

Surabhirn looks gorgeous throughout the movie and even her performance is rnlaudable. Prabhas Seenu who got equal screen space with the hero does rncomplete justice. After a long gap, Saptagiri produces rib-tickling rncomedy. Supreet, Harish Uthaman, Urvashi, Brahmaji, Dhanraj and Raghu rnKaarumanchu entertainers.

Technicalities:

Techniciansrn have been the backbone for 'Express Raja'. Music composed by Praveen rnLakkaraju is very refreshing and even the picturization is appreciable. rnBackground Score is equally good. Camera Work by Karthik Ghattamaneni isrn a special attraction. Editing is neat. Merlapaka Gandhi overcome the rnSecond Film Phobia with his impressive writing & execution. Though rnhis narration looks pretty simply, the magic lies in keeping the rnproceeding engaging with clean comedy. Production Values of UV Creationsrn are damn good and their reputation of quality cinema is intact.

Analysis:

Afterrn 'Venkatadri Express', Director Merlapaka Gandhi yet again preferred a rnsimple story and tried to narrate it in an entertaining manner with goodrn characterizations and funny incidents. The screenplay of 'Express Raja'rn was inspired from Hollywood flick 'Vantage Point' and Gandhi have done arn good job to effectively use it with the characters he created in rn'Express Raja'.

Presenting each & every character in a rndifferent way and bringing all of them to a certain location in the end rnis a format tried by few other TFI Makers in the past. However, The rnscreenplay of 'Express Raja' makes all the difference. An incident whichrn happens in the beginning of the story will have a great influence on rnmany characters and ample humor was generated when they began chasing rnthe Hero. That's how 'Express Raja' proceeds from start to finish!

Merlapakarn Gandhi leaves a mark of his own by making the proceedings entertaining rneven though the storyline is wafer thin. After every 15 minutes, A new rncharacter makes an appearance and tickles the funny bone. Notably, None rnof these characters look forced & unnecessary. Even a cameo played rnby Dhanraj has got a huge significance and the way his character was rndesigned is hilarious. When there is magic, who cares about logic..This rnstatement is apt for 'Express Raja'.

'Express Raja' is a clean rnyouthful entertainer and even the roles of villains will generate humor.rn While the First Half was filled with funny One-liners, Second half havern Chases & Twists but the pace drops a bit here. Its only during the rnpre-Climax, Momentum picks up again and even the ending will be very rnfunny.

On the flip side, Chemistry between the lead pair didn't rnwork out and even the comedy quotient drops in the latter half. Too manyrn coincidences were a bit of concern too. On a whole, 'Express Raja' havern the elements to please the class audience and it might do well in all rnthe A Centres.

Bottom Line: Fun-Filled Entertainer!
