F2: Theatre Visit Or Free Show?

Online Streaming Platforms have become a good source of income for the Film Producers. Agreements have been signed prior to the theatrical release for screening films online. As part of the deal, 'F2' surfaced on Amazon Prime at 12 midnight.
What came as a shock to the Distributors and Exhibitors is the fact that 'F2' is available on Amazon Prime when its running with housefulls. In Sudarshan Theatre located at RTC X Roads, This multi-starrer collected a Gross of Rs 2.5 lakh with four shows on Sunday.
None of the other Pongal Releases were able to draw crowds after First Week. Among post Sankranti releases, Only 'Yatra' managed to hits the bull's eye. 'F2' continues to dominate, especially with additional screens in the weekend. Screening the film for free on Amazon Prime could bring down the collections and end the full run very soon. Taking this situation as an example, Producers need to prevent such things from happening at least till the completion of 50 days.
'F3' is being planned for Sankranthi 2021. Another Hero will be roped to share screen space with Co-brothers Venkatesh and Varun Tej.
