Gautham Missed It, Trivikram Misfired It

It is very common that our filmmakers are always searching for inspirations. They might be from our old movies or Hollywood films. They don't leave Korean, French, Italian movies as well. Everybody knows that Trivikram has taken the main plot of 'Agnyaathavaasi' from the French film 'The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch'. Surprisingly, it is not just Trivikram who eyed on the French actioner.

A few top league directors in South tried to take 'inspiration' from it. Gautham Menon is also one of them. The buzz from the Kollywood reveals that Gautham Menon planned a freemake of Largo Winch with Tamil star hero Vijay. He has completed the script work and he has done a photo shoot for the film as well. They have even released the first look with the title 'Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru' but the project got shelved later.

As Gautham is known for making serious action films, he would have carried the original flavour, unlike Trivikram who tried to make it a commercial potboiler. Whatever be the case, Gautham missed it.. Trivikram misfired it.
