Director Sekhar Suri is a specialist in making thriller genre films. He couldn't achieve a big hit after 'A Film By Aravind'.. but he is coming up with a new film 'Dr.Chakravarthy' now. Apart from working in Tollywood, Sekhar Suri worked as a writer for several Bollywood films. But he has a clean image who doesn't have any bad habits.
He is saying that people will take his clean image otherwise. He said that "One day I was checking a shot in the monitor.. a lady reporter from popular English daily came to see me for an interview. She has lighted a cigarette and offered me another one. I sad no. She asked me how about drinks ? I said no.. she immediately asked me -Are you a womaniser? I was surprised at her question. I asked her.. Is this the way to interview someone ? she answered that there is a general opinion among the public that directors will have all these habits.
He shared another incident "I went to a guest house to meet an actress. She was already having drinks.. and she was smoking a cigarette as well. As soon as I entered her room.. she locked the door. She asked me - everybody in your unit had sex with me.. except you.. do you have any problem?". I aksed her - Do you think I'm sterile? She answered -I'm thinking so.. and asked the question to find it out. I told her- I don't indulge in sex with a lady who indulges in sex with others." This talented director is saying that bad habits are not the eligibility to continue in the film industry.
