Highlights of Kohli-Anushka Wedding

The marriage of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma came as a surprise for millions of people. Nobody expected the Love Birds to enter wedlock so soon, considering the Bollywood career of Anushka.
Kohli and Anushka got married at a resort in Italy. It was Producer-cum-Director Aditya Chopra (Rani Mukherjee's Husband) of Yash Raj Films suggested them to prefer Italy for the wedding. Even Aditya and Rani tied the knot in Italy in the year 2014. Anushka considers Aditya Chopra as her mentor as it was him who launched her with 'Rab Ne Banadi Jodi'. So, She can't ignore any advice given by him.
The lehenga wore by Anushka Sharma for the wedding was designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. As many as 67 People worked for a period of 32 Days to design this bridal wear. On the pale pink colored Lehenga, The embroidery work was done using silver & gold colored metal thread. Even pearls have been used to elevate the overall look. Syndicate uncut diamonds were preferred in the Jewellery Section.
Well-known chef Ritu Dalmiya, who owns a popular Italian Restaurant, was hired to satisfy the taste buds of the guests at Virat-Anushka's wedding. Even a large number of Indian Dishes were served. The menu section stood as very special at this celebrity wedding.
The newly married couple planned double Wedding Receptions. While family members and friends will be invited for reception in Delhi on December 21st, Cricketers and Hindi Film Fraternity would arrive for the reception scheduled to happen in Mumbai on 26th of December. Menu finalized for these two occasions is going to be grand.
