Malayalam Actress Hima Shankar Sheematty created a sensation by talking about the casting couch in Film Industry. She mentioned about the 'Bed with Acting' package that exist in the Industry.
Hima Shankar revealed she received many 'Bed with Acting' packages in the beginning days of her career. When she enquired what is it all about, She was explained that it's nothing for offering sexual favors in return for acting assignments. Hima Shankar claims she never succumbed to any such pressures and rejected all such offers. After a point, Such packages stopped coming her way as people understand she isn't going to indulge in such activities.
In her recent media interaction, Hima Shankar Sheematty told she is receiving threatening and abusive messages ever since she spoke about casting couch. 'Even My Career might come to an end after this but I wish to convey Acting is a profession not a business with women's flesh,' she said.
