Satellite Market in Telugu has been reducing the amount they spend on buying the Telugu Cinemas as much as they used to some 15 years ago. Then, the Telugu channels looked to buy in bulks to create a bank of movies for them.

Now, they are only shelling out money for those movies that have any potential to run at theatres or interest audiences to watch. Even A rated movies by censor are being asked for low prices though they are hits.

But for Telugu producers who are making films with stars, the Hindi satellite market has opened gates for them. The rates they are shelling out for Telugu dub films are huge.

Recently for RC12, the asking price started at Rs. 20 crores it seems. Sarrainodu of Allu Arjun got a deal of Rs. 14 crores as per reports.

Now, Aravinda Sametha team is expecting Rs. 25 crores and Maharshi team is expecting Rs. 28 crores, it seems. Additionally, the streaming sites are also giving good prices for straight films.

Well, if the rates are to be believed, then the producers can relax that their losses will be minimal if even the movies don't run at theaters as expected.

Baahubali created a record price as it got sold for Rs. 120 crores and now, 2.0 got a deal of Rs. 95 crores, it seems. So, we can expect if big amounts for upcoming films of SS Rajamouli, Prabhas and Rajnikanth who have Pan-Indian appeal.
