Rakul Preet Singh is looking to make a hit comeback in South Indian films mainly Telugu, after a flop like Spider.
She took time off for Tamil films like NGK, Dev and Hindi Film, De De Pyaar De. Ajay Devgn's DDPD made more than Rs. 95.65 crores at the box office during a timid summer season and she is happy with the success.
Now, she is doing again with a senior hero, Nagarjuna Akkineni in a similar kind of film. Talking about the success, she said, "I love the fact that people accepted me in Hindi too. But I am always a Telugu actress first and won't be looking to ditch this language for others!"
Talking about her perception in the vicinity of her friends and even in the Industry, she said, "I am a Tomboy and love being called that way. I think a person should embrace what they are completely and shouldn't be ashamed of it.
Rather than trying to behave like someone else, if we can try to be ourselves, we will all be comfortable around everyone!"
She also said that shedding weight helped her in keeping herself more fit and trolls haven't made her so sick that she should change anything about her.
She refused to comment on Manmadhudu-2 and said she will talk more about the film soon.
