Puri tried the same with a different hero !

Puri Jagannadh is known for his hero characterizations. The hero will be careless, teasing the heroine like hell, he will make fun of his dad and lecturers.. he will drink, smoke.. what not.. one can see every bad habit in Puri's heroes. There may be one or two exceptions..but most of his films reflect this. When it comes to titles.. Idiot, Deshamuduru, loafer..coming to the present.. it is Rogue. So.. one can say that he is consistant in the titles and hero
characterizations.

But there is one thing.. audience taste changed. They are rejecting monotonous stories.. routine hero characterizations. Puri appears to have not learned from his past mistakes. It is known that Puri's latest film Rogue is getting ready for release. The posters, hero costumes, his hairstyle, cap.. everything is same as Puri's earlier heroes.

Jagan is saying that he tried something different with Rogue. But.. the reality appears that, he tried the same thing with a different hero. Hero will be a rogue initially.. he will tease heroine.. he will fight with the villains.. he will deliver few punch dialogues..impress the heroine and her family finally. The moot question here is.. 'Are there any takers?'
