Veteran Actress Sri Devi passed away without seeing her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor on the big screen. Janhvi Kapoor showed her dedication towards work by attending the shooting of her debut film Dhadak, few weeks after the demise of her loving mother.
Amidst high expectations, the official Hindi remake of Marathi movie Sairat titled as 'Dhadak' hit the screens. Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter played the leads in the film.
The movie is doing decently well at the box office in terms of collections and Janhvi Kapoor's acting became a plus point for the film. The actress succeeded in impressing the Bollywood audience but the people who have already seen the original version Sairat are commenting that Janhvi is not that appealing. However, this is just her debut movie and she still has a long way to go to achieve the star status. Janhvi herself always claims that she still has a lot to learn.
