Same feelings on Khiaidi: Kajal.. Rathnavelu

A remake film can not fetch the same recognition as a straight film. Even if you work hard for a remake, people will not give much credit. That's the reason why some people will not show interest to work for a remake. Star cinematographer Rathnavelu belongs to this category. Rathnavelu revealed in a recent interview that he was not that interested to work for Kaththi remake. But he joined the 'Khaidi No.150' team for only one reason.. that is Chiranjeevi.
He said that he is least interested to work for a remake film..beacause there will be no chance to leave his mark.. but he could not reject the offer as the movie is Chiranjeevi film. He said that "Working with Chiranjeevi sir is a great experience. I'm happy that everybody is appreciating me for showing him handsomely".
Surprisingly Kajal made similar remarks even before Rathnavelu. She told that.. "I know that heroine will not have much importance in Kaththi.. even though I take up the role she will not get much appreciation.. but I have accepted the offer for only one reason.. i.e., to share screen space with Megastar. She also told that if it's not Chiranjeevi film, she would not have accepted the film. Probably Vinayakk must have felt the same way. He did not get any mileage as the movie is a remake. He might have done the film for Chiranjeevi for sure.
