Producers NV Prasad, Bandla Ganesh and Nallamalapu Bujji has made allegations that films of Mega Heroes have been neglected whichever Government might be in power.
NV Prasad: 'Who received Award in the year 'Magadheera' released? I shouldn't talk about that man as he is no more alive'.
Bandla Ganesh: 'Mestri ran for a single day in theaters. Whereas, 'Magadheera' showed the stamina of Telugu Cinema. Then, Congress Government offered the Best Actor award to Dasari Narayana Rao. 100 percent...there is political influence on the Nandi Awards. I am not against TDP or Congress. I'm against when injustice is being done to Cinema. Government should announce ANR Award & recognize 'Manam'. Allu Arjun deserves award for 'Rudramadevi'. Government should make these corrections in the Nandi Awards list. NTR acted brilliantly in 'Temper' but they offered award for 'Janatha Garage' just because I am Mega Producer'.
Kambampati Rammohan Rao felt it's unfair to blame Chandrababu Naidu for Nandi Awards selection. 'Why didn't these people question then Congress Government when they didn't offer NTR Award?,' he asked.
