Kangana Ranaut To Star In A Biopic

Bollywood firebrand Kangana Ranaut who recently scored a super hit with 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' is all set to play the role of late chief minister J Jayalalithaa in the biopic. Director AL Vijay is helming this project.
Titled as 'Thalaivi', the movie is based on the politician's life. GV Prakash who is onboard to compose tunes for the film has personally revealed this news on Twitter on the occasion of Kangana's birthday. "After #gangsofwasseypur this will be my venture back into Hindi .. #GV72 #KanganaRanaut will play the lead role in #Thalaivi, the #Jayalalithaabiopic produced by vibri_media vishinduri and directed by #Vijay #Vijayendraprasad #NiravShah GV Prakash #HBDKanganaRanaut (sic)" GV Prakash tweeted.
The makers have already got necessary permissions for making the biopic. Vijayendra Prasad is looking after the script works. Nirav Shah is cranking the camera for the works. Madhavan Karke is penning the lyrics for the film.
