Ending the long wait, the much-anticipated film, 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' has finally made it into the theatres yesterday. Kangana Ranaut played the titular role of Rani Lakshmi Bai in the movie.
It is known that director Krish helmed the major part of the film whereas Kangana Ranaut also wielded the megaphone for some episodes. The movie opened with a mixed response from the audience. Some critics gave 3.5 rating whereas the other websites like NDTV gave one rating out of 5. Some commented that there is no soul in the film. Despite appreciating Kangana's power-packed performance as Rani Lakshmi Bai, some websites like India Today give just two stars for the film.
Even Indian Express also gave average marks for the film. However, everyone are lauding Kangana's performance and the movie got good opening day collections. We can say that the film will rake good collections by the end of the full run.
